Job 16:7-9

⁷ Surely, God, you have worn me out;^(A)
    you have devastated my entire household.^(B)
8 You have shriveled me up—and it has become a witness;
    my gauntness^(C) rises up and testifies against me.^(D)
9 God assails me and tears^(E) me in his anger^(F)
    and gnashes his teeth at me;^(G)
    my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes.^(H)
